Always roll them up into a figure eight then wedge them into the plastic eyelets where the line is tied to the tarp, never any tangles.

My snakeskin's have two pockets on the outside specifically for this. I used to just use a stuff sack, but switched to snakeskin's. Totally worth the $25.

Yep. No worries for tarps with any of the no-tangle lines (spear, z-line, etc). Just roll em up into the snakeskins.
For tarps with lines that can tangle (Niteize, mason line, zingit, etc) I'll just take a minute and figure-8 them before they go into the snakeskins.

I have an elastic and Velcro wrap on one of my tarps. I really like it every time I use it.

    My Tarp has 8 Tie-outs.

I've seen the Pawn Bags http://godgunspoliticsandhammockcamp...pawn-bags.html
I've Fig8 wrapped them in place.

I have thought about tying a little rubber band at each tie out.

    What do you do?
Without having read the whole thread, I'll +1 on pawn bags - I got a set when they first got invented by Sarge Vining and they're surprisingly useful. Barring that, if you've got DIY skills you can add pockets to where your guylines go a-la Hennessey.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
