ViDEO: Hickery Brothers in the Linville Gorge 2014....All Parts))))

We finished the Art Loeb Trail and now we desend on our beloved Linville Gorge Wilderness Area in North Carolina....

First two nights we hung out by Hawksbill in Gorge Rat Base Camp. Then we hit the Pinchin Trail...toughest trail in the Gorge pitch-wise.
Been since 1981 that I have been down that trail on a visit home from Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus tour. Went with Hickery and the Turk.

    Whooooo Buddy))))))

Looking forward to the next segment. I am going to put the Gorge on my bucket list. Being a noobie to that area, I am going to need a guide and sherpa, maybe you and Ken? I am just a couple years older! LOL
Every hike begins with the first step and ends with the last one, it is all the steps in between that create all the memories.

Great videos you guys are the best. I camped in the exact same spot mid september carried a 28 pound pack up pinch end and the walked the road back to Conley cove trail head I was one tired Fatboy!! To me pinch end is the prettiest trail on the gorge but steep....

That was a great nights sleep listening to that ditch water run. Plus a bonus afternoon nap.
