I am looking to add a ridgeline to my rig and have a few questions. 1. Fixed or adjustable? 2. What material should I use? Amsteel or Lashit? 3. What is the prefered sag? Thanks in advance for all the help. Jason

I just installed my new adjustable from arrowhead-equipment.com ( http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/s...idge_Line.html ) easy to adjust, consensus is start at 83% of hammock length. I'm just starting with mine too, literally tonight. AHE had prompt shipping. I bought vs. making cause I'm lazy like that I could always make it fixed later but I like the idea of being able to dial it in then once you're sure on length make it fixed. Just my two cents.
If you know exactly how long you want it, then fixed is a great option. If you don't know exactly how long, then the adjustable is the way to go. I like to think of the 83% of hammock length as a good starter for length. You may find an increase in comfort on either side of that figure. 2.2mm Lash It is plenty strong for a ridge line.
where is the best place to buy Lash It?
