There is a thread in the Reviews Forum that has had several responses just in the past day or so. I am definitely not affiliated with Hammeck, but did just order a hammock from them. Thanks for the consideration!

I second this
Individual vendor forums are only created as a organizational tool when the amount of traffic warrants it.
What's the gauge? I've seen rather more traffic and posting about Hammeck lately than I have about your average fly-by-night "can we get a subforum for X" company.
Not even being clever here, I'd really like to know how that decision gets made.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
I don't think there's a scientific formula or specific criteria to get your own sub-forum. If a vendor gets buzz on the forum, it is self-evident. Even a mod can see it! And they're looking at thousands of posts a day, most likely.

Well he did say "organizational tool" when the traffic warrants it. So even though it may not be a scientific measure, if new posts come up often enough, it makes sense to put them all in one place.
If we like Hammeck, and we talk about them a lot for legit reasons, they will get a sub-forum listing. If not enough chatter, they don't need one.
