Greetings all. We originally planned on hanging at harriman state park. However, the camping situation fell through. We tried booking sites at worthington state forest, but it looks like all camp sites are taken. So, we decided to pick up sites at stokes state forest instead. Sites 14 and 15 on the lake ocquittunk loop. Great campsites!

Howdy, folks! Could someone please share some more information about this hang with a newbie? How far is ti from the trailhead to the campsite? Is overnight parking available near the trailhead? Are camp fires permitted? What is the cost? Will it be fun? ;-) Etc.

Welcome EL Gordo. We are going to Stokes State Forest in New Jersey which is car camping. With plans of hiking lightly one of the days . Yes there will be fires. And the price will be determined on the amount of people that come. And we are going with a very fun group of people. More than welcome to join us, let us know
