What to use for turtledog top rail to shackle?

    Hey all,
Not sure if this goes here, so mods plz move if not.
Just curious what you guys are using for line from your top rail to your shackle or hinge on your turtledog stand.
I tied a prussic (as instructed) using some ratchet strap webbing, but its a bit too bulky.
I have some extra lash it....would that be strong enough?
    Thnx

kllrbee -- I have eye-bolts at the end on my rails, and use 8" soft-shackles (1/8" Amsteel) from the eye-bolts to the shackle on my hinges. -- Grizhicks

I made some amsteel dog bones. used simple cow hitches at each end over the ridge and the hammock end. Not very adjustable but convenient.
