I thought about this same thing the first time I set up. I wound up clipping one of my carabiners from the end of the tree hugger through the triangular adjustment rings as well so I would know which end was which.

Now, if I can only remember if I did that on the head.. or foot end.

Some good ideas here.. I like the idea of the different colored cord-locks... and drawstring colors.

Red(string or sharpie mark whatever is handy) on the head!

On my HH tarp, I wrote H,F,R,L(with Sharpie) on each appropriate end or side pull out. That thing drove me crazy at first!

Sometimes I use an even easier technique: use a hammock with no head or foot! Like a JRB or Claytor No Net!
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

Where can you pick up a red cord lock that will fit the BB drawcord? Thanks!

Just a knot on the end of the line at the head end, and leave the last couple inches of line out of the bag each end
