Hello from the black hills of South Dakota

Hello all,

I have been doing lots of research on hammock camping and thought I would give it a try. I'm from the east coast by way of Kansas and used to do quite a bit of tent backpacking in the Blue Ridge then got out of it for a while in Kansas. Now that I live with the Black Hills in my backyard I thought I would pick it up again but this time try hammocking(?).

Thanks kdawg. When I started to get back into backpacking I searched on Google for good hikes in the hills and your channel came up. I've watched several of your videos.

Thanks boot. That's very awesome of you. I may just take you up on that. I would definitely be interested in attending the bh hammock hang next year!

Awesome! Thanks. I'm getting a little behind in filming trails too. When it warms up a bit ill be doing some winter trips. The hills are beautiful covered in snow.
