Less than a month away! Looking forward to it, especially after hanging at Hawn the last two weekends. It hasn't been cold, but it sure has been great weather for being in the woods!

I'm putting it on the calendar, it will be my first hang with a hammockforums group, I've been hanging for over 15 years, but only found the forum last year. I look forward to it.

Just got my down ordered for my UQ, also have a couple DIY's so I will be there for sure.

If I am looking at that map correctly, it is only a two mile trail?

There are 16.75 miles of equestrian / hike-only sections on the Mudlick Trail (5.5 is hike-only).
I've heard that Backpack Camp 1 is nice, so I thought we'd try to stay the night there.
Let's meet at the trailhead for the hike-only section at 10am Saturday. On the map, it's the one nearest the purple Natural Area.

This is a Whatever-Your-Pleasure kind of hike. We'll have just a couple miles hike to the campsite, so feel free to bring whatever gear you want to stay warm. After we make camp, we can then go out and explore more if you wish, or just lounge around camp. You'll then have the opportunity to hike as much as you want on Sunday.
