    Where to purchase down?

I've got some new projects to work on, and I need to purchase some 800-900 FP down. The problem is that I don't know where/who to buy it from. Anyone know some good dealers?

I've seen people successfully using down filled pillows that can be bought on ebay, just have to look for the ones with the highest rated down

Quest Outfitters is where I got mine.

I know of no pillows filled with 800-900 down. In fact, I don't know of any filled with down. They include feathers. So, beware if you go that route.

By the pound, you can order from - http://www.downlinens.com/products/premium-washed-down

I have been happy with my orders.

I just finished my underquilt using the latest version of the CatSplat underquilt calculator. I got my down here:

I was extremely happy with the quality/fill-power for the price. Then again, it was my first time working with down, so I don't know the difference.

The My Luxe 800fp down pillows I bought last year have very nice and clean down.

Any idea on the approximate fill power? That's a pretty good price if they didn't have high shipping! I'm looking to do some of my first down projects as well! Thanks!

Rumor is the 100% duck is 650 and the 100% goose is 750.

I got a pound of the goose down and it's pretty dang fluffy.

Shipping was like 6 bucks. (flat rate)

I don't have anything to compare with, but the stuff expands like crazy. Yeah, 6 bucks flat rate shipping for me as well. Woodtwigg might be seeing some steep shipping if he/she is located in Rome.
