Grand Trunk SBP.
I'm 6' 3", that thing was too short. I can't think of a worst place to be when an doozie of a charlie horse kicks in than a small, enclosed hammock, at 2 o'clock in the morning.
This is where I'm at right now. Ordered this exact set up before seeing all the quality stuff the cottage venders are putting out. I'm happy with the set up and Grand Trunk customer service at the moment...we'll see what I'm saying a year from now.
I'll add to the ENO strap regret.
I used my atlas straps once and they've been sitting in my camping room ever since.
Bought them before I knew better because 2 of my friends had them.
DD superlight tarp...
have no idea why I got it seeing as I already had a Superfly but think as I was getting the super light hammock and bugnet,I might as well get the tarp. Turns out it's really far too big as a light weight tarp (just use the HH asym tarp that came with my explorer UL) and pretty heavy as well....
you live and learn apparently though with regards to gear I'm not sure I ever really learn...
All the gear and no idea.....
My first suspension was Atlas Straps as well, and once I learned some more I switch out to whoopies (like many others). I don't regret my original ENO purchase, though. The Atlas Straps and Doublenest have become my trunk hammock. They fit perfectly in the storage bin under my trunk mat and those straps can be used in a wider variety of conditions than my 6 ft tree straps that stay with my backpacking hammock gear.
All those hours exploring the great outdoors made me more resilient and confident
Dutch Speed Hooks, got them just before the recall.
Not hammock gear, but I regret buying a bunch of HEAVY and Bulky stuff trying to sleep on the ground with a bad back! Nothing worked and if it did, it was too heavy to carry to remote places I liked to go. I was limited to car camping, and I finally gave up camping altogether. I new hire I work pointed me to Just Jeff's Hammock Camping website, and I was back in the game! I'm still using my first DIY setup!
I do regret buying buying 30' of climbing rope from Bass Pro. Super heavy, bulky, and super stretchy. I also bought some Samson Validator rope, which I'm very happy with, from an online marine website that charged me $14 for "shipping and handling". After joining HammockForums.net, I now know where to buy my DIY supplies!

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
...and as it harm none, do what ye will.
the no net ridge runner I just ordered this morning, should have got the SL w/ net.
creek
I'm sure you can still change your order. Just email Brandon. The net is no big deal since you can roll it up out of the way if you don't need it.
