Yeah the rest of us made it to the restaurant. We wondered where you two ended up. Glad to see you all made it home safely.

Enjoyed meeting all of you and had a great first hang.
Nothing like the outdoors, good people and hanging out.
Looking forward to the next one.

Got home, washed off the funk, took a nap. Lil Bit still taking hers. She worked hard this weekend, she earned it.

So what was it, chupacoon or coonther? Perhaps we'll never know, but at least we all came out unscathed. Well, except for that huge but unseen emotional scar that Easttex will be burdened with for the rest of his life. Remember that night the next time you see him so that you may be kind and understanding of the inevitable tics and quirks that will result.

We can perhaps console ourselves that the unfortunate incident was at least partially offset by the auspicious award of a Trail Name. These occasions are not to be taken lightly as these are the stories be told around campfires by our people for many moons to come. The epic story of Scatman will loom large as one of those spoken towards eager young faces reflecting the glow of the flames of many a fire as they learn about those who came before them. Remember it well and be respectful in its telling.

Glad that Lord of the Chickenwings crossed the Sabine to join us and hope to see him in the piney woods again. He's a good dude and an excellent judge of music.

Phipps and his bud were also a welcome addition, and its always a good time when I see Sparky Geek and ZaMonkey. I used to be that young.

The Huey Clan can share a campfire with me any time. Hummer seems to be a younger brother from a different mother.

Wanderlust is always fun and he's a powerhouse when it comes to helping out the cause. We do need to work on a trail name for his brother though, and I hope that he comes out more so we can get that done.

Didn't get to spend as much time with xPreacherx, his wife, and dbarham as I wanted to, but Friday night's camp was made better for their presence.

I can't promise any more moosh on the next one, but there is definitely going to be a next one.

Its not the way these things start or finish, its the trail in between and the folks who walk it with you than makes it all worth while.

Thanks a bunch you guys for joining me on my walk in the woods.

    We very much enjoyed it!

Big thanks to the ladies for making my wife feel welcome on her first primitive group campout of any sort. She really enjoyed it!
All of you made our first forum-group hang a real joy, despite us having to leave early.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics (wanderlust)

And definitely looking forward to the next hang.

That was great! I hope everyone enjoyed the Mary Jane jokes. If those army of Koreans were Japanese would they have thought Big Dawg or Baby Huey was Godzilla?
