Had a great time Guys! Learned a lot about winter camping. First off when its that cold you need coolers just to keep stuff from freezing. I also experienced the frost and snow on the inside of the cover from condesation from your breath. Saturday night I left the zipper open just a bit and no inside snow storm.
I brought a thermometer that had a wireless (NOT WIFI!!!! ) receiver. It pretty much stayed around 32* F 0* C on the shelf of my BB. Outside got to 2* F -16 C and with the wind chill it got down to -20 F -28 C. I built a little snow wall up to the tarp to keep the wind at bay.
    Good times with good people.
Did someone say WIFI lady was signing up for the forum?!?! LOL

I was up Friday to test out the hot tent I made ( yes I slept on the ground )
Had a great night seeing some familiar faces and meeting a few new ones

Hot tent worked very well but I'm gonna move the stove as suggested to make a little more room inside and help improve draw. And yes the longer chimney as suggested in my other thread made a huge difference- no backdraft.
Tent was around 20°C inside while it was -15° or so outside ( dropped a little colder as the evening progressed )

Looking forward to the next trip

Ya. But I typed a bunch of stuff, then actually posted it, then realized how far behind I was.
I'm heading over to the current trip post, fingers crossed I get it right.
