I like the tent but not too keen on no vestibule space as that could lead to a wet interior when entering or exiting the tent, as well as vestibule space for gear storage is a nice thing to have.

Hope you understand if I wait to see if something better comes along. Thank you very much for posting about what you have to offer.
24 is SMD's listed weight. Weight inside the stuff sack on my scale is 24.42 ounces. No worries on finding the right gear.

    Hey Yoda

Not sure if you are interested, as it is heavier than everything so far offered, near 4 lbs.

I have a Sierra Design Clip Flashlight, not new by quite a bit, but in very serviceable condition.
It would give you a way to get out, and the price is right, shipping included. Merry Christmas

Pm me your address if you want it

TZ thank you very much for your kind and wonderful offer, but I'm sorry I will have to decline as it will not work for me. Thank you so very much though, I'm very thankful and touched by everyone's kindness!

I have a Eureka Solitaire I would be interested in trading around for. That is, of course, if you're interested. It tips the scale at 2 1/2 pounds but it is a really nice tent. I have only used it a handful of times.

have you considered using a light weight tarp with a DIY noseem netting across the opening? You can use a hiking pole to set up the front so there is no weight there (assuming you use poles), take it down on other 3 corners, take a small ground mat, and have a pretty light set up. I have used a 5x7 (http://www.bushcraftoutfitters.com/M...est-cb-sil.htm) with a piece of netting from JoAnn's Fabrics across the front to keep the bugs out. I did not use a mat under me but it would be easy enough to do. Your total weight would come in around 10oz. If you want a bigger shelter you could get a 10x10 and do the same thing.

Here is a link on how to do on a simple set up with an 8x10 http://www.etowahoutfittersultraligh...com/howto.html
