I wish I could make this one, but visiting family that weekend. Will give you a heads up!
Do they actually close off the road? Or just hard to get out there without 4 wheel drive? I have 4 wheel but really struggled to get out there last year.

John if we wanted to and if there were snow I do have a plow for my truck. Hehe. I would make sure we could drive in.

Chelsea they plow into that spot so there is usually a snowbank blocking your path. Depending on how big the snow bank is My truck wouldn't even make it.

Yeah, I'm planning no snow but it's something we have to mention. Most of the State forest block with a pile of snow to keep you from getting into trouble I can remember two feet of snow in October, it's just not likely.
If we can make it in with our trucks we will and if not, out come the pulks and we work off some of the steak and bacon

===> Yee-haw! I get the last stitches out of my eye on the 18th, and hope to get a green light a week later! I am Jonesing to get out again! I will get on the spreadsheet as soon as my eye stuff is over, if I can! I can bring the same two-burner stove that 1960HikerDude has - we can cook about anything! Man I hope I can make this!

Wish I could go. But Carol finally sold her condo in Manchester. We are now scrambling to get all of her stuff out of there before the closing.
