If this was thought of already I apologize.
Just wanting to throw an idea out there to use the whoopie hook
as a speed hook.
There is a half hitch involved (which I call a slip knot at times)lol.
Think I figured out this Youtube thing.
Why do I want to use it as a speed hook rather than whoopie hook?
Reduce the distance due to buries and just because

I did something similar trying to make use of my whoopie hooks now that I've made the switch to speed hooks. Here's my vid if you haven't seen it yet...

Great, I finally give up my figure 8 lashings for whoopie slings, now everyone will be moving in another direction! It's tapes to CD 's to mp 3's all over again!
