As said by many and now by me Paul makes one fine underquilt. Mine is sand long around 30 degrees of warmth. Suspension I tried was on my Dangerbird the pack hooks along with Dutch quilt ridgeline hooks to rise the foot and head. Did go out once for a try but our weather was fairly warm 81/55. Knowing the low end I left both ends open to vent felt a slight chill when the wind came up so reached over and closed the head no chills just warmth.
Will I reach the rated temps in my area doubt it but nice just in case at times I camp at elevation 8600 early summer and fall. Photo of my test area; New River, stacked goose 40 and both covered with protector.
