TX>GOOSE ISLAND SP>April 3-5 2015

Starting a thread about a possible hang at Goose Island State Park in April. This should give Spring Breakers time to clear out and the annual migration of the spring birds to come in. Not to mention IT"S OYSTER SEASON! There are great amenities and we are looking at the Bayberry section sites 107-118 as the beginning. These sites are water and electric, they also have multiple hang options. These are "cleared" sites so no underbrush. If you have any questions please ask. I will be talking with rangers this week to finalize everything. SO, get ready for some springtime hanging coastal style!!

Goose Island is one of a handful of Texas State Parks I've yet to visit. I hope the calendar works on my end.

As a resident of Rockport I might take offense to the comments about the mosquitoes

Cheryl and I will plan on being there if nothing else demands our attention and time.

P.S. Carry your money in your front pockets, because one mosquito will trip you while another will try to fly off with your wallet. As they say..... everything is bigger in Texas.

Same here!! I will keep an eye on this thread also as I am interested in going. I hope to be able to the park looks awesome! I'll mark it on the calendar.
