    Flyz, Fleaz, Stingerz, and wasps

]I made a vid showing the differences between these popular tarp suspension. They do the some thing with slightly different attachment points. I still like the Flyz because they are simple and just do the job intended. The Wasp is great for continuous ridgeline because you have to move it often. The Stingerz are Flyz with a biner on the back which is good if you like to move your suspension to another tarp. The last and newest bug in the family is the Fleaz. I put mine on a little loop so I can use it as a prussic or larks head it to a d-ring if needed. I couldn't find my no-see-ums for the vid.

I laughed at that line too. Big fan of deadpan humor. I don't mean I am a large breeze that pushes deadpan along.

Nice Dutch, might have to get me some Fleaz.

BTW, I have not locked down on the Tarp Flyz in 2 years. I just run the cord (Yellow Zing-It, I believe) through both eyes and it has held in place just fine.

I did this as well. I found sliding the flyz hard so I just left them wherever I slid them too without the loop and they always stayed. I just use the stingers now, easier for me.

Thanks, Dutch. Great job on putting them all on a side by side comparison. Now, you look like SpideyDutch.

I use the Fleaz without a FleazCollar. I put the Lash-it thru the hole and lock in like the Flyz. Works great and no slipping thru 25MPH gusts. Unlock it and it slides anywhere I want it.

I had the No-see-ums added to the guy lines, but they kept getting lost between the fibers
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Nice video. I was a little disappointed that my last order my 2 fleas got reduced to only 1 due to lack of stock. I have been using the flyz as fleas for a few years now. BTW I got a good chuckle on the flea collar.

Have you ever made a larger version (June bug) that would accept 7/64" amsteel? I am putting together one of the 3 person tensegrity stands and have been replacing the stretchy ropes with amsteel and wanted a way to tighten up the top loop and lock it down.

Just converted my UCR/SLS over to Dutchware. Using the dutch hook on one end and a flyz on the other. The tarp is prussicked to the CRL. Awaiting arrival of the speed hooks for my hammock. Kinda hard to figure the weight savings but it has to be a few oz.s.

I love my Flyz! I attached them to the rings on my Superfly. I also have my 12' Zing-it lines larks headed to the rings. At each end I simply wrap the line around the tree and back to the Flyz. This creates the "V" at each end for my hammock suspension to run between. Works great! My Speed Hooks just arrived today, as well. Thanks Dutch!!
