    I have some questions.

Hey guys I just got my 2nd hammock and I don't have a clue about it. A friend of mine runs an outfitter and just sells ENO but was going to try to sell some custom made hammocks and this was the last one so he said here take it I don't know anything about it. My first hammock was a Hennessy Hyperlite and at 6'1" and 192 I know I was pushing it, I also got calf ridge very bad. With the HH at least I knew which was the head & foot and top and bottom. The new hammock is a double layer hammock with an opening for a pad, it also has all the suspension woopie slings tree straps and a ridgeline which I'm not sure how to connect it. I have some pics so maybe you guy won't mind helping me. These pics show how I attached the ridgeline I'm not sure if it's right or not.

No it's not a warbonnet it's an Oxygen Gear, it is very good quality I'm just not sure how to attach the ridgeline I have it on there but I don't know if it's right. I have tried it out in my porch and it lays really good. You can see the pic of the slit where I stuck a rolled up pad in and I guess this is the foot end. Not sure.

IC, kind of misunderstood your question I guess (thought you needed help identifying it) dang its the second time ive been wrong in my life.... the ridgeline looks in a good spot to me. although the end that does nothave the woopie running through it could move around on ya but I doubt it????

The way you have it in the second picture of the RL is better. The way it is in the first of the RL (just around the hammock body) is not so good. The better practice is to put it around the loop that forms the suspension where it attaches to the hammock.

http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/how-to-videos.html Scroll down to the 4th video on Ridgeline set up. It's more secure, and more consistent.

I agree with Paul, the second picture is the preferred way.

The RL was not attached to the hammock so I wasn't sure. One end has a much bigger loop than the other side. As you can see the side with the big loop I looped around the hammock while the small loop is through the whoopie sling. Do I need to put the big loop through the WS like the other side?

Great video pgibson thanks I'm going to try that. I don't think it's adjustable but I don't guess that matters.
