Side sleeping in a bridge hammock?

I have been looking into a variety of new hammocks, and am close to making a decision on one. Besides a couple of gathered end styles, I have looked at a number of bridge hammocks, and am intrigued by the design. My big question is if they are comfortable for a side sleeper. I know it will be hard to curl up in a fetal position, especially for someone as tall as I am, but was not sure if they were comfortable in general for a side sleeper.

    Thanks!

I am very comfortable on my side. The Ridgerunner is very versatile in the many ways you can lay in it. Like you said, can't do fetal, but I'm more of a "half-way" side sleeper anyway.

I only side sleep in all of my hammocks. There is a small learning curve but very do-able and very comfortable.

Here's my bridge with me on my side semi curled.

My rr is comfortable I only sleep on my side and toss from side to side.
When I was a kid the only time we were in the house was to eat and sleep.

I slide sleep a lot in my RidgeRunner. I could not pull it off in other bridge hammocks that I tried. O&B's photo is basically how I sleep in mine. At home I tend to sleep semi figure 4 / Captain Morgan. In the RR I can get close to that if I scout my back up agains the edge behind me, it gives me enough room to bring my leg up partially. It also gives me a little back support. Not may do that though I think as until your comfortable with the angle the hammock cants up at you might feel like you're going to get dumped.

I can't speak for a RR but I have a WB XLC and I sleep on my side/ stomach. I never thought it was possible but by having that extra foot of hammock it's allowed me to flip to my natural position. I can do the fetal position, figure 4 and I can sit in it Indian style / legs crossed. Just another option and good luck.

I'm 6' and find the width of the RR too narrow in the middle to sleep in the fetal position as I would in a bed. I can get one leg up and one leg semi straight and that's pretty comfortable. I mainly just sleep on my back in my hammock now. Never sleep on my back in a bed. I had a JRB BMBH and actually thought it was easier to sleep on your side. It's a deeper hammock but it was comfortable. I liked it. Just got a RR to try something different.

Thank you all for your help. I'm close to pulling the trigger on something to replace my Skeeter Beeter Pro. Trying to make as informed of a decision as I can, and all of you have been very helpful. Thanks again.
