Went well for the most part. My New wool blanket anorak was pretty awesome. And heavy enough even you BCUSA guys might lime it. Still have some work to do on my quilt suspension and tarp stakes but things are shaping up well for MN.
Next thing you know you'll be doing friction fire and carrying an axe .
My summary was in post #43 and #45. Was good. I want to get out a couple more times before it warms up too much.
With what I brought I was good for at least 20º colder. I never even put on my down jacket. I was tempting death wearing cotton....
My UGQ TQ will arrive Monday. That will lighten my pack about 3 lbs and free up a few liters of space.
Sorry, I must have skimmed over your update. The tarp looks great! Thanks for the trip report, it looks like a nice place to hang, that is relatively close to home.
