    Hammock and Tarp Length Question

What is the difference in a 10 ft or 11 ft hammock other than the obvious 12 inches?Would an 11 foot ridgeline HG Cuben tarp with doors provide adequate protection for an 11 foot hammock?I am hoping that it will since the hammock loses some length when hung but have no idea how much that would be.Anyone care to comment? Thanks!

Yes, so long as it's a gathered end hammock. Hammock will generally be 110" long, leaving ~11” coverage at each end.

Assuming you use a ridgeline and it's approximately 83% of the hammock length, then yes.

Great, thanks for the help.I should have plenty of margin and the doors will make a difference I would think.
