    Pfaff presser foot?

After reading this I would like to get a presser foot for the sewing machine I'm currently using - a Pfaff creative 1475 CD with IDT. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good translation for "presser foot". I did a couple of searches, but the feet all look different. Does a presser foot always have plastic parts and a roll?

Here is a picture of the feet I have:

Is the 4th one a presser foot?

Those are all "presser feet", the fourth one in your picture is an blind hem foot or something to that effect. Used for some of the fancy stitches on the machine that can give invisible stitches or can bind the raw edge of fabric, sort of a faux serger effect. I also like to use it for the second pass on a flat felled seam b/c I can adjust the little red thing and as an edge guide to run it right down the edge of the seam to keep me straight.
    Good luck,

Thanks, I didn't know that. So what is this foot called, then?

I'm going to use that blind hem foot on mine for the two tarps I'm making tomorrow. Excellent idea!

I have a 1993 PFaff Hobbymatic 955. The "0" foot is for straight and zigzag stitching. "1" is for decorative stitching without using the top feed(walking foot). "3" is as Redoleary said for blindstitching and overlock stitching and can also be used for edge stitching."4"is the zipper foot, which can also used for edge stitching. "7" is a hemmer foot. I don't know about the other feet. "Presser foot" is general term used for all of these items in your photo.

I also have a Pfaff but a select 3.0 and it uses the same feet. # 3 the one with the white nylon is a blind hem foot and it works the same way as the one used for the yellow fabric. There is however a difference as far as I can tell. The guide (the red thing ) supports the fabric from the other side. It has a 90° angle on the left side and a 45° angle on the right side. I have only used mine in a test after a saw the nice picture with the yellow fabric and as far as I can tell it will only work for our use if you want to stitch a hem on the right side otherwise you won’t have the guide function. The workaround is to have your fabric under the arm but it is not easy to control. Been there don that and had to rip the seams. There are other options out there. Be careful before you buy presser feet online. Some only have one hole in the middle so you can’t adjust the needle sideways.
If you have to hem a lot buy a dedicated hem tool or make your own. I did make my own and it makes life much easier and faster. In my profile there are some pictures. The downside with these tools is they won’t work with small cat cuts. For those you have to be able to rotate the fabric under the foot.

    BTW
Presser feet from one brand does sadly not fit another brand
There is however a workaround. In my case I went to my local thread injector pusher with my presser "foot arm" in my pocket. Not sure what the correct name is but it’s the link between the foot and the machine attached with a small screw. In my case a low Brother arm fits and vola now I can use Brother presser feet. This mod gives you options.
