I'll tell ya, that's the way to go. For so long I've been wearing heavy long underwear to stay warm. But I've recently found it's just better to wear a thin layer and use the appropriate sleeping bag/TQ for the weather.Originally Posted by ckmaui

Cuben standard with doors 12 footer....I think lol. I received a email today that the ug was shipped but the tarp is on back order. Awaiting material.
I sent Adam and Jenny an email yesterday since I ordered as a guest and could not get an online status report. Here is her reply with an update on the CF status:
"Sadly, the cuben fiber has been delayed for about 8 weeks, and we are at the mercy of the supplier. The newest update is that they will ship it this Friday to arrive next week. It's not enough time to get everyone's out within a week. We will be working as quickly as we can, using all staff on hand. I know it is frustrating to the folks who have waited so long, and I understand the wait is a little ridiculous. We cannot seem to make them ship it any faster, even though we call them every week. I really do apologize. I'll keep you in the loop as soon as we know more."

I've been sleeping in the backyard the last three nights with a thin homemade (traditional patchwork) quilt under me and haven't been cold (mid 50's as it's mid-summer here), so have just removed from it's sack to store until really needed .. It's much longer, lighter & thinner than I imagined - probably not fully lofted yet due to the weeks compressed in transit, and the quality of workmanship is evident .. I've gone back to the spare room to 'admire' it numerous times already so will probably test it out in the very near future regardless of need lol ..
Likewise I couldn't be happier with the customer service since the bling had doubled my international shipping costs *eek, but they fixed that up and refunded me within a couple hours!
Of course now my son wants one too ...... when's the next sale ?!
