Glad we got more folks coming! Been a while since Hoot's been out... Ramenshaman will remain an unequivocal maybe for the foreseeable future...new babies in the family tend to do that! LOL! Doubt we'll get enough snow for the pulks, especially given how close we'll be setup to the cars. But you can hope I guess...hehehe.

I'm tentatively planning on getting out there early Friday afternoon, since neither Wes nor I will be working that day. We'll have to bail as soon as we get up Sunday, since we'll start moving to the new apartment as soon as we're back and showered that day.

I was really hoping to make this hang to learn what hammocking is all about. Unfortunately I have to work all next weekend.

Accuweather showing a chance for ice first thing Sunday morning...but I typically don't trust the forecast until about Thu. Thanks for checking on the water and gate, Fuhgawee. Was thinking about that earlier and was going to call out there this week.

Well...come out in the evening if you can, even if it's just to sit around for an hour or so and BS about gear and check out everyone's setups. You can learn a LOT from the folks who usually come out!

For those of us that haven't been before, where exactly are we meeting/setting up at?
I'm planning on being there early Friday, it will have to be a single overnighter for me, but it's better than nothing.

We'll setup at the trailhead, especially since there are a bunch of us that don't know each other yet. We usually setup in the corner between the two trailhead paths, but pretty much anyone can hang wherever they find a pair of trees they like. You may be the first out there...if not, you'll recognize us by the hammocks!

I'm hoping to be out there early Friday afternoon, but depends a bit since I've got to do some prep work given that I'm going to start moving to a new apartment as soon as I get home on Sunday.
