Sorry i missed everyone and hope all gets to feeling better.
I haven't done much winter hiking/camping and last night proved my 3 season gear is definitely 3 season gear - was a cold night - 25 degrees.
MoHiker - it was great sitting round the fire getting to know you a little. I really hope to take you up on some of the future hikes.

So sorry that everything fell through. With both of us sick, and both of us needing to leave early on Sunday to move, we just couldn't make it. Moving while sick was NOT a preferable alternative to camping out there with you guys, let me tell ya! Hopefully we'll do better next time. If anyone has an interest in organizing a hang in the area, we'd be interested in coming!
I am thinking about organizing a weekend or overnighter at Cooley Lake. Thought it might be kinda neat to wake up over by the Missouri River in the next couple of weeks. Anyone game? If interest I will open up a forum so let me know.

I had plans to go to CO the week of March 15 that fell through and due to working the last few hangs wondering if anyone would be up for a KS gathering for a night or a few. I'm very new and could use some veterans to teach me a thing or two.
Actually, I'm planning on being out at Woodridge this upcoming weekend (the one you mention, Caddisman). I'll PM you my cell, we can talk and possibly meet up out there. Might have Weasel out with me...and we may get a surprise guest appearance from Ramenshaman as well!
