Brian & OES Makes the Honor Roll

I've got several flys in sil, one in cuben and one in SpinnUL.....to me SpinnUL is the way to go...I'll be carrying cuben on the next big hike coming up soon and Sho-me will be carrying the SpinnUL.
Do I need doors? well I've lived well without them in some serious crap weather, that said I did well in horizontal rain at Albert Mountain with a stock fly from Hennessey with only one damp spot but I did have everything cinched down tight and low low low to the ground.
Doors are a luxury but with Spinn its not such a weight penalty...it's just a nice option for when you maybe cannot use the terrain to your advantage or when the winds do a serious shift in the night and are coming in so strong that they whip around the tree and pound either your head or foot end.

So the race is on....Warbonnetguy has his design but no Spinn; OES has the Spinn but not the design....may the best man win! and if it helps spur either of you manufacturers on in the quest I'll offer a $50 bonus to the winner---assuming the economy doesn't bottom out between now and then

brian could i send my tarp back to have 'doors' installed once you get them figured out? or at least a door on one side of the tarp? i sent you an email about it awhile ago

I was going to buy another OES 8x10, but this time in Spinn. Now I'll have to wait to see what Brian's new designs will be . Been saving for it.
