Thanks for sharing. Looks like a fantastic trip. Bear looks like a great companion. My last hang was a solo overnight to Thunder Swamp State Park in Pennsylvania with my dog, Marlee. We were VERY lucky - I spotted the porcupine in time to grab Marlee's collar before he saw it! We narrowly avoided the meeting of a curious dog and a large, defensive animal covered in sharp pointy barbs.

Thanks for the trip report AND the nice video!

What a nice spot you camped at. The fog was Lord of the Ringsish.

Glad you had a good time. It just keeps getting better from here....

Great report RP. Glad your first solo was a good one.

I didn't see any wildlife, but something big did come through my site about 3 in the morning. I don't know what it was but it was sneezing and grunting. Bear didn't bark, but he was looking for whatever it was and so was I.

Hey, Bear's gonna be insulted that you said you went solo. I wanna Bear to hike with! Nice trip and video. Thanks for the trip.

Nice solo trip. I think you've motivated me to finally do one.

Have always enjoyed solitary pursuits, just never did a hike. You made it look very appealing.
