    what carabiner for tree straps?

I've been using carabiners for my tree straps now, but I got some hefty stainless steel ones from the hardware store that I want to replace with something a bit on the lighter side. ideas, suggestions, links? thanks!

    Warbonnet
    Trek Light
    Grand Trunk

All of these guys sell biners that work just fine for hammocks and they are a gram or so lighter than the Camp Nanos and about 1/3 the cost. I use both Warbonnet and Trek Light biners, but just saw that Grand Trunk has what look to be the same ones too. Way over a year on the Trek Lights and still look new.

Had I done some research ahead of time I would have bought these instead of the stupid locking Black Diamond ones I bought. Don't get a locking carabiner. They are a PITA to deal with.

Disregard my post then. Cannibal's options are better. I'll probably have to look into those myself then.

I'm not knocking the Camp Nanos, I've got more than a couple myself. Good biners, just a little pricey and overrated for how we use them.
