Ok, the end of the month has been reached (december) so I am going to say that we are definitely going to go with the "campfire cooking" for the meal. That said, If you really want to fix something ahead of time and bring it, far be it for this died in the wool Baptist to turn away good food!
I am going to be fixing a cobbler, or two,and some baked beans. I will probably do some hotchocolate in my mermite container also.
We need; Paper plates, cups, plastic tableware, paper towels, drinks and more food. I have two folding tables but a couple more might be good.
Once again, I urge folks to bring folding chairs. I have lots of outdoor room but no place for people to sit. My decks are packed up for winter right now and have firewood racks on one of them. If anyone has a popup shelter thingy, that might be handy in case of rain/snow.
I have also heard from Powhatan SP and will be posting an update on the main thread. so, check over there.
    Happy NEw Year All!

I should be good for a table and some chairs, maybe even a standing tarp (no sides).

I have a table and a Kelty Noah 12 I got off the forum I am dying to try out. I've never flown a tarp this big as a shelter, so this will be a learning experience for me so I will take all the help I can get...

I am hoping to bring a DO Chicken Pot Pie. I can probably get some paper plates out of the Scout trailer.

Let me know what to bring in terms of paper supplies and I can throw some in the truck. If you want me to bring hotdogs or store bought precooked sausages (for meat on a stick), I can do that. Just give me a head count closer to the time.

Is there a specific time for the eats or is it all day cook as we go thing?

I have some tables I can bring as well and I might be able to borrow two popup tents from work.

Ok, SnoreManchine. We have 22 people signed up but we may have a couple of extra show up. I have had some Ham radio operators asking about hammocks so I may have thrown out invitations. No more than 4 or 5 I think though. I am planing for less than 30 people, based on the folks who have signed up or said they are coming. From my past experience with such things, we could have more or less actually show up. Who knows?
What paper supplies can you bring? As for hot dogs or sausages, your call man! Whichever you prefer. We will firepit and cook away, or throw them on the smoker.
I figure we shall start the MeetnGreet about noonish, plan on eating around 3ish? we can talk, get to know one another and plan while we cook. Then sit down and eat while we discuss the group in detail. Clean up and end around 5...ish. No rush.
