I think I'm going to need a translation thread so I can understand these abbreviations.

Perhaps we can make a "Hammock camping dictionary" and sell it, as our first fund raiser???

I thought there was acronym dictionary on hammockforums. I haven't looked at in years (tapatalk client so I don't visit the web site much) . Probably needs updating. The ultimate hang also has a list. I forgot to check either of these!

    Love to see a YATS.

Re: big guy hammock. Dream hammocks double layer 10' long and as wide as he can make it, is a nice hammock.

Yes but we could make it weatherproof and pocket sized, outa recycled materials, so's you can carry it with you in the field! It'll work darn it! It'll work!

Somehow, I'm thinking that maybe a campfire cookbook would sell a little better...

Only if there's an UL version made out of tyvek and only a third of a page long. It must have additional purposes as well.

But what would we call it? I vote for VSWAG (very small weather proof acronym guidebook).

Of course, everyone with a VSWAG would know what a VSWAG is. Those who don't know what a VSWAG is, clearly would need the get a VSWAG.

That would be the first rule of the VSWSAG club. The second rule would be WDTAVSWAG. :-D
