Also google up The Ultimate Hang. Derek is also a wealth of data. Between the two and this site you will hit information overload in less than 1 hour

It can't be said enough, get Derek's book (~$4 on Prime) and watch all the Shug videos (preferably from the comfort of your hammock) and you will be well on your way.
Start planning now for the Spring MAHHA - it is a big gathering of hammockers, twice yearly. A great weekend with 100 of your closest internet forum friends. You can find out all about it--just search MAHHA.
