    Suspension for my Yukon double

Hi guys. I recently picked up a Yukon Outfitters double hammock and am trying to decide on which suspension I should go with.
This is my first hammock and I still have a lot to learn.

I was thinking of purchasing a Marlin Spike Whoopie Kit from Arrowhead Equipment and using that. Are there better options than this?

My next question is, what is the best way to attach the fixed eye of the whoopie sling to the hammock?
I was thinking of purchasing an 8'' amsteel continuous loop and feeding that through the end channel. But then, how would I attach the loop to the fixed eye? And is it better to use the continuous loop together with descending rings?

    Thanks!

Personally I skip any extra gear and attach the fixed loop on the slings directly through the channel on the hammock. No extra hard wear, simplest set up, least extra distance for your minimum tree spacing.

Ah okay. I just watched your dynaglide ridgeline video and saw how the whoopie sling was fed through the end channel. I didnt realize how long the whoopie sling was. Awesome!

That's exactly what I did with my Yukon Double. It's worked great so far. Easy to set-up and take down with minimal fuss.

Sorry - no pictures, but I installed the whoopie slings the same was as in the AHE dynaglide video. Tree straps around the tree with a Marlin spike hitch/toggle. Then the other end of the whoopie sling over the knot behind the toggle.

See the thread I posted. Gives pictures and suggests the use of Dutchware speed hooks. Working great so far.

Oh I apologize, I meant if i decided to go with the marlin spike whoopie kit from arrowhead. Would the only adjustment point be the whoopie tail?
