Pictures of your Dream Hammock with Hyber D 1.6 in use????

Hi folks, I just ordered a Roaming Gnome single layer HyperD 1.6 in Charcoal Gray. I agonized over the color selection. I was wondering if any of you have pictures of your Hyper D 1.6 hammocks in use with tarps and quilts that you could share so I can get a better idea of how the colors look. It would be really great if you have a Charcoal Gray Hyper D hammock and a cuben fiber tarp paired together.

PapaSmurt has not only done a fantasic job of making one of the best hammocks out there, he's also brilliant at marketing! The color selections and posting pictures of each hammock completed is enough to drive you crazy and to order more!

    Thanks
    Gideon

Hello. I will post mine when I get it. 1.6 singler layer hyperD in camo. Zilla just posted his, its pretty much what it looks like. I figured since i'm always using a quilt/tarp it doesnt matter what color the hammock is!

Hi Zilla, I checked out the picture of ours. It's not your typical "green" woodland camo, however, it looks like it would be the perfect camo for the woods in winter time!

I like for my hammocks to blend in a little but I realize that's only going to work so far. In fact, it's my cuben fiber tarp that really stands out in the woods. I can be hundreds of yards from my setup and that tarp still really stands out. The only time it didn't was one morning near a river bottom; it was cool out and there was a really thick fog from the river. It made my setup almost disappear.

    Thanks for the pic!

Thanks, yeah, that almost made me go with another color but actually in person it's alittle darker than the picks and a very nice camo,, most of it will be covered with quilts anyway.

Here's a few of my DB with single layer HyperD 1.6 in Black with a black tarp. No quilts on it yet.

Hi Twelve; good looking hammock and thanks for the pics! I thought about black but thought it might be awfully hot in the summer. But then again, I'd have a tarp up on most occassions. I think the all black looks good and it seems to blend in with trees better than most might think! How would you rate it's comfortableness compared to other hammocks you've had?

A question for you Twelve and any dream hammock owners, do you get in on the side that's opposite of the side tie out? That's what I'm thinking one would do.

It's my first hammock so can't compare it to anything else. It's super comfy, though. A lot more than my tent haha!
