5.11 Tactical Kilt - Black and DNKE Sport Utility Kilt

For Sale two very nice kilts. I've lost 30 lbs. and still counting so they are way too big for me now. My loss is your gain (saw what I did there?)

DNKE (Darn Near Kilt Em') Sport Utility Kilt Size M/L Khaki
Per the sizing chart on the site this is a 39 to 40 waist kilt.

See the link at Amazon for details. http://www.amazon.com/****-Near-Kilt...ear+kilt+%27em

I've worn this kilt three times. Once to try it on, once on a weekend group hang in the Sipsey Wilderness and once on a four day section hike on the AT. No stains or damage and freshly pressed pleats. Smoke free home.

List is $90, I'm selling it for $50 including shipping (CONUS only please) and PayPal fees.

Here is a photo of me in the kilt and of the kilt from all sides.

5.11 Tactical Kilt Size 38 Black

This is the kilt that has launched a lot of kilt wearers across the nation. I got this one after the DNKE but have never worn it. I'm down to a 34 waist now so this one swallows me alive. This link will give you as much info as possible on this kilt. http://www.511tactical.com/kiltoff
It is fresh out of the wrapper and never worn, not even to try it on. Smoke free home.

List is $79, I'm selling it for $50 including shipping (CONUS only please) and PayPal fees.

Here are a couple photos front and back for the 5.11

DaddyDaddy needs funds to finance a new Kilt in the new improved sizing. Thanks for looking.

The bold title above the description in his post said size 38. I didn't see a sizing chart on the manufacturers website to check for details on sizing.

The 5.11s from my understanding fit pretty true to size. You will want to wear the kilt at or just below the navel. Regardless of how you wear it both of these have belt loops and I always wear a belt with mine. Just completes the look to me.

I was wearing size 36 pants. When ordered I took the proper tape measurement at the navel per the instructions on each website for these kilts. Gut was the issue. Now the gut is gone and a little more and...well...you see the reason for selling them. I love these kilts and will use the funds to buy others. Just no good common sense holding onto kilts I can't and will never wear because they are now too big for my more streamlined persona.

The DNKE Kilt is a great kilt. The pockets are perfect for incidentals when hiking and are very roomy. It is very durable but not heavy. The quality of it is far greater than the original retail would imply. As stated above, I really love this kilt.

The 5.11 was purchased as more of a dress up kilt but never got used in that or any other capacity. The cargo pockets on it are detachable and can be swapped side to side. It has hand pockets which are nice when standing around the fire and nothing to do with your hands. Again, the quality of this kilt is great for the price and they are only sold by 5.11 one time a year and go extremely fast as others on the forum will attest to. Great opportunity to save a buck and get some instant gratification....at Christmas no less.

Only bump and first, last, only price reduction. $50 for either one. Help me put these great Kilts in good homes. DaddyDaddy needs a new kilt.

    Thanks for looking.

I'm so tempted. I've always wanted to try hiking in a kilt. Do you get many strange looks? Is it as comfortable as it looks?

I'll take the 5.11 Kilt! It is one size closer to my actual waist size than the 40 I've been wearing
