    OH...
    MY...
    GRACIOUSNESS!!!

That photo is insane! ADKrella thank you for sharing it. Seriously, what an absolutely beautiful tree. Climbing a redwood (or maybe that is a sequoia?) is #1 on my bucket list right now and that picture does a great job of explaining why.

HA! SERIOUSLY! The branches on that tree are bigger than most trees here in Minnesota, hahaha.

Dude, straight up, you are a trip! Keep on, keepin' on.

And nope, geese do not sleep at night. Had flocks heading south all weekend while we were catching the meteor showers.

I luckily found out that silnylon deflects goose turd-bombs quite well. And it wipes off without a stain!

I believe that's a photo of general sherman, the tallest redwood in the world. I believe those are park workers, and I doubt it's legal to climb even if you could find it. (its location is a well kept secret).

President Tree....sounds like it might be part of the group your thinking of and apparently not quite the tallest believe it or not.....but probably still illegal.
I for one wouldn't mind if he snuck up there for an overnighter if he was careful.

I know there are many redwoods protected from climbers by specific laws but there are some that are perfectly legal to climb. Hopefully next summer I will be able to join a group of climbers that will introduce me to them.
