Name Change to Bug-Bait (from qpens)

Hi Gang,

I generally try not to post trivial things like this, but I wanted those of you who know me...and, those who don't...that I've taken on a "real" trail name.

My good friend and Entomologist by trade, OH-NO, dubbed me Bug-Bait after I was bitten over 100 times by bugs on our weekend hike from Harpers Ferry to Crampton Gap a few MAHHAs ago. In fact, Paul, Tracy and JD were probably very happy that I came along on this particular hike, since none of them had a single bite. Who needs DEET when they have me?

I noticed the change earlier today when I saw Misto in your avatar and said "wait a minute".

For those who aren't familiar, qpens... uh, Bug-Bait... sets up the MAHHA hangs but on the hang in question, he left to get the bug bites addressed. Misto (his Newfoundland) lost track of B-B as they were trying to leave and trekked 1/2 mile back to the campsite looking for B-B. They were reunited in a few minutes and I believe Bug-Bait came back the next day for the cookout (if I remember correctly) or maybe it was the day after.

So, can we all agree that BB is BillyBob and B-B is Bug-Bait? It might get confusin'.

I'm figuring the bugs to be mostly gome the first weekend on Nov.... So you should get a pass...

Bug-Bait!!!! Congratulations! Identity crisis usually sets in around adolescence, and, for some, never ends. I'm happy for you that equilibrium has been reached.

Anyway, B-B needs to have a talk with Coffee about bug attacks! They have recently had similar experiences!

Bug-Bait! What a great trail name!

Your new trailname is kinda like childbirth. Once you get past the pain and trauma, makes for a good story. Glad you didn't give up camping with us, cuz I know getting eaten up like that wasn't much fun. You handled it like a champ! Now you just gotta figure out who's the scoundrel who put the big rock in your pack at the last hang. ??????
