I am in search of pics related to UQ's. However, I need pics of them that are made of synthetics, COMPRESSED.
I have searched and searched, but was only able to find a handfull.
Anything with a size comparison would be awesome!
Thanks!!

This is my Jarbridge in its stuff sack. If I really mash in it I can get it down to half this size.

Awesome, thank you! I am wanting to make a few more quilts but I am a little concerned about pack size with the synthetics.
I use a Feather Friends water proof bag and I am able to get my 20 degree hummingbird, jarbridge, and cub pillow in the sack. it works out to about the same size as the picture above. I will try to get you one tonight. I think a compression sack or something other that it ships in will help control the size.

Just be careful with how long and often you are compressing your synthetic quilts to the extreme. It can damage the insulation and lower its effectiveness. I leave my quilts loose in the bottom of my pack and push them down with everything else I put in the pack.
I'm interested in seeing pictures of compressed synthetic underquilts as well though.

It'll be Thursday before my UQs, my camera, and my body are all in the same place (traveling for work ATM) but I'll throw up some comparison pics between an AHE New River full-length 4 season and a UGQ Zeppelin full-length 20* as soon as I can.

The green stuff sack is the New River quilt, the black stuff sack is the UGQ Zeppelin quilt. A blue CCF pad from Wal-mart and a 1L Nalgene bottle for size reference...sorry it took so long to get this up, got a lot busier than expected over the past week and a half...
EDIT: After looking closer at the picture, you can't really tell the green stuff sack from the black one...the stuff sack on the left is the AHE New River, which is the bit of red poking up from the top of the sack...
I had a synthetic and a down one. The down would go down to about 1/2 the compressed size.
