That's awesome, glad you had a good hang and beat your low temp personal best. It was definitely a good way to bring in the new year.
I was warm overall, but it took a bit of time to get warm again after each time I got out to pee. It was the first time I had used my incubator on my Ridgerunner too, and it was a bit fiddly trying to get it set with the spindrift on. I actually knocked the quilt off one of the times I got out and didn't realize it until I had gotten back in and was really cold. I had to get back out to put it on again, so I was pretty cold when I did get back in for about 15 mins because I was only wearing a sweatshirt and flannel pajama pants.
It didn't get down to 17°, weather underground said the low was 21°. Not bad, still beat my personal best of 22° by one degree. I was really warm when I woke up, and I fell back asleep and didn't get out until 9:30 or so. I don't think I would have been warm enough without the spindrift, because I don't think I had the quilt quite right. Plus, it's curved to match your body in a gathered end hammock, so I'm not quite sure it will ever be perfect. I need to set it up without the spindrift though, so I can SEE what's going on. It was dark, so I just had to rely on FEEL.
Congrats on your successful hang, and happy new year!
