We camp on the Tallulah a good bit during the summer for the fishing and my grand kids love to float from one end of the campground to the other. Of the three campgrounds there we like Sandy Bottoms the best. Tate Branch is nice too and Tallulah fills up fast as it is the first one you'll come to on River Road.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
I was looking at the other two sites and they are closed for the winter. They keep Tallulah open with a bathroom for winter.
There are primitive sites also at the end of the FS road that can be used.
Any word on when the next GA hang is going to be & where?
I am interested as well. I am in north Georgia often and would love to hang with you guys.

Seems like we should stay away from the state campgrounds if we're going to run into a "stay on the pad" issue.
Any votes for the weekend of 2/21 and Raven Cliffs? I'm open to any other suggestions, but for the sake of putting something together in a couple of weeks, this is a tried and true spot. My only worry is them shutting down that road due to ice.
p.s. I love the Tallulah suggestion, but worry about availability.
