This Is Getting Ridiculous (An UL Comparison)

Had a Wasp on my UL CF tarp. It weighs 2 grams.

But I switched to a Dutch Hook and Hammock Fan Tarp Anchor, which together weigh 1 gram.

In addition to that gram, though, I also get the ability to use more of my Lash It suspension line around the tree and a closer pitch if needed (more versatility).

Plus, the Anchor is easier on the tarp tab.

I like the Anchors a lot and expect to order more.

Yeah, I can't imagine our hardware getting any lighter than it is now but who knows. It's really nice that some of this stuff doesn't break the bank either.

Someday we will carry around spider silk sacs and make the lines on site, no hardware needed.

Maybe I am not understanding your setup, but with a split (non-continuous) ridgeline, and in the case of hanging from large-diameter trees, or when tress are too far apart, wouldn't the flyz or wasps give you more flexibility by being able to slide up the lash-it? With big trees, or wide distances between trees, a tarp anchor near the tarp may not be reachable.
