I feel like the fit about half a size smaller. I normally wear a 12 and while they fit ok with a thin sock but they are a tad snug with a regular hiking sock.

I've got the same boots and I agree they run a bit small. I too normally wear 12 but had to jump to a 13 and that's a bit large. They are very cushioned and supportive in the ankle (and I have skinny ankles) while still having a pretty large toe box. Mine have been great so far.

If I normally wear a 10.5, and the 12 is more like an 11.5, do you think the extra one size would be too roomy? Thinking about an added insole and wool socks....may be ok?
