I was considering using the sheer curtains and now I'm going to pull the trigger. Thanks again for sharing.

I also thought it was 1.9 oz but after 4 orders from RSBTR I am not so sure. It seems heaver than RSBTR's and certainly has a different finish. The people at my local Hancock store are very nice but they do not seem to know much about the specs of the material. Again, great looking setup!
I did not weigh it, just made the assumption based on a comparable fabric ordered from other suppliers labeled as 1.9. Im 6' 5" and about 230 lbs so if it is a bit sturdier I want complain.

Ok everyone talking about weight got my curiosity up so I put it on the scales in the stuff sack and the total weight minus the tree straps is 23 oz.

Look up dave xtrekker videos on youtube he has a very good video about how to build the hammock and attach the bug net. I used his ideas and added some grosgrain loops to the ends on each side to simulate the triangle things that are used to attach my under quilt suspension. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow showing the quilt attached. My hammock is by no means cutting edge. There is a wealth of knowledge that can be obtained from this site.

Is that a separate triangle piece sewn on for the side tie out?
