Silkworms! I got to name Dutch bling!
Silnylon will stretch overnight when it gets damp. Without the shock cord your guy lines would become loose as the silnylon stretches. Then as the wind whips your loose(er) tarp it can pull the stakes out of the ground.
When you use a section of shock cord with non-stretch line, you pull the shock cord as tight as it will go... then as the tarp stretches the shock cord relaxes a little and the tarp keeps a taut pitch.
Peace Dutch

As a class of connectors, these look like very nice cinch worms. They cinch well and are a cinch to use. ;-)

Dutch is bugging me out...
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Doggonit! Bet those hook worms work great for doors. Of course my order with the old school door hooks is due to arrive tomorrow. :-P
I dont like to leave all my lines on my tarp when storing it, These Hookworms will work great for me,i think i will make up some little loops of shockcord that can stay on the tarp and just hook my lines to them when i hang my tarp, plus it will help take care of the slack issues.
The price is right on these as well. Good job Dutch !!
Dutch,
How much longer are you offering these at the introductory price of $2.50?
