Can the hookworm be used on tarp doors on the Superfly?

Yes. Very well. I am at NEHHA and I am using it my winter tarp.

I think hookworms will be perfect on my Superfly. I like the idea of only leaving some shockcord on the tarp. Trying to figure out if I should use Plastic clips on the doors or maybe a hookworm or two.

I prefer clips (door clips or mitten hooks) - I cut the shock cord about 2/3 the length of the door. Here is a clip of how I do it, the doors part is at the end.

It's a very useful vid! If you aren't closing the door but staking it out open do you hook the clip to a ground stake? Or use a seperate guy line?

Tie a little loop on the stake you would use and clip it to that. Easy on/off.
