Incubator 20 - Lowest temperature experience?

Warm or cold sleeping variables aside, what's the lowest you have been in your Incubator 20*? I'm looking to pick one up, and really curious as to just how modest Hammock Gear is about their temp ratings. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

    Cheers!

I've been to 10 in my Incubator 20 comfortably. Not sure if I would try much lower than that unless I had to though (maybe with a good bail out plan).

Someone else will need to comment on that - I haven't used it in temps high enough to require venting yet, but I'd probably do the same thing I do at home - throw a leg out for a bit...

8 degrees and windy. Remember, an underquilt is part of your overall system. I also wore polypro tights, a down jacket and had JRB down sleeves over my legs. I had a balaclava and a fleece hat on. Slept like a baby.

2 degrees and howling wind last night. Had my 15 degree sleeping bag as top quilt and was wearing long johns, down sweater and a hat. It surprised me.

3°F one night. 7° on another trip. 1oz overfill on mine. No cold spots or discomfort whatsoever. Wore Capilene 3 top and bottoms with a Marmot 15° Pinnacle sleeping bag on top (which I could call a 0° or lower "quilt" since it's loft is just crazy)

BUT I just purchased a 0°F Incubator because I don't want to mess around with it in subzero temps.

Also napped in it in my basement which is around 64° and felt just right.

I think an incubator 20 is definitely on my short list.
