Looking for another great weekend in the woods! Here is a link to info about the Berryman Trail. It is a 24 mile loop trail in Mark Twain National Forrest, roughly 16 miles west of Potosi.
I plan to go out Friday afternoon and grab a campsite at Berryman Camp. Campsites are free and first come- first serve, but we should be able to put several hammocks to a site, as there are plenty of hanging options. We can hang out and basically car camp Friday. Plan to visit and make a nice meal! This would be a great chance for somebody to come out and hang for the night, even if they don't want to hike the trail.
Saturday, those that want to hike will get up, break camp and hit the trail. If you can't make Friday night, you could show up early Saturday. FYI, I would like to be hiking before 8AM. The plan is to hike roughly 12 miles (half of the loop) Saturday and the other half Sunday, camping along the trail Saturday night.
