About a 3rd of the way into the vid where you are stopping for your pork chop lunch. Gotta say, looks like a blast! I'm sure I'd have been pulling a wet-exit over those falls myself. <grin>
I need to find someone who will actually get out and do this sort of thing withe me.

Wow - that looked like a great trip down the river. Great morning the last day to wake up to.

Ok, so I loved the footage, and thanks for the info on the tripods.. but my question is how did you capture the audio?
When you were near & going over the waterfall, I couldn't detect the normal muted sound of the video camera being in a case.
If it was in a case, what type of camera are you using to record this?

    Paul,
I wasn't using a case. No GoPro's around my house. The main reason I don't use them is because of the case and how it kills audio.

With the type of videos I make (with decent sounds) I just can't see using a GoPro.

The entire video was filmed using my new Olympus TG 850. It was my first time using the camera and I must say I am very impressed with the audio and video quality. It is a fairly inexpensive camera. A plus to it is the LCD screen can be flipped up so that you can see yourself in the shot, pretty important to make sure you are always in frame.

Still like watching the older hammocking vids via the ol kayak trail. I also use the WallyWorld gorilla mini tripod. Pretty tough little guy.

    See ya at HangCon 2018.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
