the best about the camp groung at merriwether lewis it is free,plus well maintained and very beautiful

BB: isn't your RV capable of boondocking for at least 1 night? Of couse, the gas to bring it might be an issue, but I'm thinking one night shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Wish I could be there, but still too far away for a weekend jaunt out there.

It would indeed, if we filled the fresh water tanks, which we have never even bothered with so far. Hauling the gas is normal, that is not a part of hook ups any way. Electricity would be greatly limited, we don't have a generator, so we would only be covered until the battery died. But yeah, it could be done.

It is just a little far for you for just a weekend! You will be missed!

yes its in the works.i have had a spring hang here 2007,2008,2009
fall hang in 2007,2008,and now 2009.i will be down there around 4:00pm
that friday maybe even earlier,this event goes on rain or shine.saturday morning we will eat breakfast buffet at the resturant at david crockett state park.saturday nite will be barbeque and brats,i will make a dutch oven peach cobbler,tnhillbilly makes a mighty choclit lovers delight cake,there will be a few other dutch ovens there also.i cant wait
